Pet care in a valley city
Animal care in Stockton takes several forms. General practices are tucked into strip centers on busy roads, emergency and referral hospitals keep late hours, and mixed practices add large-animal exam space.
Each of these buildings mixes a public front with clinical rooms and animal housing behind it. Stockton Janitorial cleans all three after hours. By opening time, the lobby is fresh, each exam room is ready for its first patient, and the wards are set for the day’s care.
Lobby, check-in counter and the scale
Clients judge a practice from the front door, and pets leave their mark there first. Crews clean nose prints off the door glass, clean the front counter, pen cups and the card machine, and clean the seating along with the walls behind it at tail and paw height.
Hair and grit gather around the rim of the walk-on scale, so its edges and top get a careful wipe. Retail shelves for food and supplies are dusted, and if your lobby has separate seating for cats and dogs, both sides get the same attention. The floor is vacuumed along the baseboards before it is mopped, so loose hair is lifted instead of pushed around.
Exam rooms reset for the morning
Every exam room is cleaned to your practice’s protocol. Stainless exam tables have their tops and sides cleaned once your staff have cleared them, then the crew moves through the sink, the counters, cabinet pulls, door levers, switch plates and the chairs where owners sit.
The disinfectants are EPA-registered products, and nothing is wiped off early: each product sits through its label dwell time first. If your protocol names a specific product for these rooms, that is the product used. Trash is emptied, and the floor is cleaned last.
Treatment areas and the surgery suite
The treatment area sees the heaviest use in the building. Crews clean the outside of the cabinets and carts, the counters your team has cleared, the sinks and the floor under tables and around the walls. Surgery prep and recovery rooms follow the same order.
When a surgery room needs more than the nightly pass, book a terminal clean. The room is cleaned and disinfected from the light fixtures and upper ledges down to the baseboards and floor. Every crew member on these rooms is bloodborne-pathogen trained. Client files and computer screens are never touched, in keeping with HIPAA-aware conduct.
Kennel wards, runs and the bath area
Boarding and hospital wards are cleaned with the animals’ comfort in mind. Your staff tell the crew which kennels and runs are in use, and the crew cleans empty ones fully, including doors, latches and walls, while working calmly and quietly around the occupied ones.
Run floors and drains are scrubbed, and the bathing and grooming area has its tub exterior, counters and floor cleaned. Concrete in the runs and the back hallways can be given a periodic machine scrub with concrete floor cleaning, and vinyl tile in the front of the clinic can be brought back to an even shine through commercial floor care.
Break rooms, offices and restrooms
The doctors’ office, the practice manager’s desk and the staff break room get regular janitorial care: desks dusted, bins emptied, counters, sinks and the microwave cleaned. Both the client restroom and the staff restroom get their toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors cleaned.
Soap, paper towels, toilet tissue and liners are topped up on each visit. Refills come out of the clinic’s own supply closet or from the janitorial supplies we bring, whichever you prefer.
Setting the visit around your hours
Visits can be set for weekday evenings once the final client has gone home and for the hours after a Saturday close, and an emergency hospital can pick the quietest stretch of its night. It all begins with a free tour alongside your practice manager; a written quote naming every room comes after. For human-health practices such as physician and dental offices, see medical office cleaning, or ask for a walkthrough.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
Our clinic has a preferred disinfectant. Will the crew use it?
Yes. If your protocol names a product for exam, treatment or surgery rooms, that is what the crew applies, giving every surface the full contact period its label calls for. Where no product is named, crews bring EPA-registered disinfectants and confirm them with you first.
What does a terminal clean of the surgery suite include?
The whole room, top to bottom. Light fixtures, ledges, walls, door hardware, cabinet exteriors, cleared counters and the floor are cleaned and then disinfected. It can be booked as a one-off visit or added to a set day each week.
How do crews keep our client and patient records private?
Crews are trained in HIPAA-aware conduct. Records, computer screens, appointment books and client paperwork are left exactly as they are, and nothing seen during a visit is discussed outside the clinic.
Do you clean on weekends, once our Saturday clinic closes?
Yes. Visits can be set for weekday evenings, Saturday afternoons or Sundays, whichever keeps the crew clear of appointments and leaves the clinic ready for the next opening.
What will our practice receive before the first visit?
A written quote that lists every room and the days each one is done, a start date, and a certificate of insurance for your files.
